When it launches, the Intel XEON 2.8GHz processor will be based on the Foster Core. As for overclocking, Dual P4 motherboards of the past have not been overclocker friendly.
*sign* the Xeons at 2.8 GHz are based on the Prestonia core. Foster was the Willamette-based Xeon core. Prestonia is the same as the Northwood except it has Hyperthreading enabled. As for P4's in dual board solutions. I don't know where you heard this as P4's never were in a dual board solution. SMP is disabled on all P4's.

You're right about 2.8GHz XEON being prestonia based, but I wonder what this quote means from theInquirer.net:
"When it launches the 2.8GHz Xeon based on the Foster core that wil cost $562, the 2.6GHz Xeon will cost $433, the 2.4GHz $224. "
And I meant dual XEON mobos haven't been overclocker friendly.
