I have a problem here. It seems that when I run WinSock information in Sisoftware Sandra Standard 2003.3.9.44 my system would crash and reboot. This also happens when I tried to download a powerpoint file from my campus network. It should be a serious error or WinXP won't go rebooting isn't it? So anyone know what the cause is?
My rig:
AMD Athlon XP 2600+
Asus A7N8X Deluxe
Kingston PC2700 256MB x2
Hercules 3D Prophet 9700 Pro
I connect to network via on board 3Com LAN (not on board nVidia LAN)
Windows XP Pro SP1

My PC has gone to hell... because it's a killing machine...

I remember somewhere that we can disable the reboot on error in winxp but I forgot... So for easier way, get one winxp tweak utility like customizer XP to disable the restart on error. This should work...

To turn off auto restart on error:Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced > Start Up and Recovery Settings, then Uncheck auto restart on errors. It won't stop the errors but atleast you get an error code which can often tell what caused it by searching. Also check Adminstrative Tools > Event Viewer (if enabled), then check Application and System for additional info.
