yep. its a good system, nice CPU & rRAM, allthough im sure you can find cheaper motherboards than asus with exactly the same features.
MSI or Epox for instance.
(ASUS are allways overpriced IMHO)
oh, one final thing. If you are planning on playing lots of games or doing heavy video/pic editing i reccomend 512mb ram.

ASUS is overpriced, but are known for very high reliability, so it is your call. As LHGpoobaa said, 512mb of RAM is a good idea if you have the extra cash.
Buy MSI KT3 Ultra2 instead of Asus A7V33. MSI KT3 Ultra2 is the most stable KT333 mobo, fast and costs lot less than Asus A7V33. $79 at Newegg. MSI boards are 100% reliable like Asus.

Regarding the motherboard choice, its really a matter of personal opinions, and everyone has its own favorite based on their individual experiences. I personally prefer the Asus A7V333, but its more expensive than others. Gigabyte and MSI also make excellent motherboards.

The ASUS mobo sports loads of extras, like firewire and such, and if you don't need them, you could save the money and spend it one more RAM or maybe a faster CPU.
