I am looking for a media player which can connect directly to a USB or Firewire hard drive without the need for a PC. All the interfaces so far require a PC (Roku, Linksys, etc.)

Any info appreciated,

u can get ureself an archos which is a player with a hard drive inside... they got a lotta models and most of them have TV-out
