I build a new pc for my parents and loaded WIN98. Did not realize that they board drivers require WIN98SE and not WIN98. I have a boxed WIN2000pro that I want to put on it now, but it is full and not update. Do I need to remove the WIN98 first or will the full version of WIN2000 remove it for me?

You will have the choice to partition and format during win2000 install, you can also choose to leave the existing OS or replace it... if you leave it on the system you will end up dual booting.

My best suggestion is to go for a clean install... partition and format the drive into NTFS while you install win2000. You won't regret it.
