Alright there is a new player coming soon XP 2800+ 333mhz "; does anyone know if this will work with the current XP boards " I have the ASUS A7V333 " and if so what the CPU timings will be.

I'm interested in this too. I have a XP2100 in a Gigabyte GA-7VRXp, which is supposed to support the XP2600 (since it has the latest bios flash). My chipset is also KT333, so if it supports the XP2800, I'll wait for that chip. I'm not in THAT much of a hurry for a few more frame rates.

Does anyone know if we can use the xp2800?

AXP 2800+ is coming in the 1st week of October. But I am not sure that it will be available at in market at that time. Possibly this is going to be another silly paper launch from AMD

from talking to people around here it sounds like it should work as most of the KT333 mobos can handle a 166fsb. i also have an asus a7v333. i'd be really happy if it does work so i can get some more life out of my current system.
