refer to your warranty statement? I mean honestly why do you think a public forum will answer this question for you any more accurately than the company that sold you the laptop?
call acer support department up and ask them if it's covered
Did it get cracked because you dropped or otherwise hit the laptop? or did it crap from normal use. That will probably be their main question when you call up to inquire. Although, the warranty might have accidental damage protection. Again, I don't know what warranty you have, so either read the papers you got with your laptop or contact the seller/acer
