Im an overclocking N00b and was wondering if it's worth the effort to try and OC this rig?
Heres the rig info:
P4 2.0a (northwood) w/ Volcano cooler(4800 rpm model)
DFI NT72-SC (Intel 850e Chipset)
512 PC-800 Rambus RAM
MSI GeForce4 ti 4400
Currently I have it set on all the standard settings(20x100)
Not quite sure how good the CPU is for overclocking, I bought the board and CPU not intending to overclock it but I figured I'd dabble a little.
Overclock the CPU by following the <A HREF="http://www.tomshardware.com/guides/overclocking/index.html" target="_new">Tom's Hardware Overclocking Guide</A>. Overlclock the Graphics Card's GPU and memory using <A HREF="http://www.entechtaiwan.com/ps.htm" target="_new">PowerStrip</A>. It may be possible to overclock the RAM also through the BIOS.
