rimm - ddr - ghz or wait

well, i'm having a real hard time puting together a system. I have been trying to do so since begin August of this year .. but there was always a reason to not buy a new system. Mainly because something new was coming up soon.

problem 1, i'm living in belgium so its pritty unclear when certain new released hardware will arive. Allot depends on goodwill of importers (read not every mobo on the asus list would be available).

i had the this 2 systems in mind, one 528 rimm & 2.4cpu & one intel 2.5 systems with 528 DDR & a mobo with allot of newest stuff. Both have the same total price, around 750€.

*used for gaming(ut2k3 & battlefield etc)
*programming(oracle mainly)
*building over 2 maxtor 40 gig hds ata 133 & gf2 ultra & sb live
*current p3 800

now, would it be better to just wait another month for the intel 3gig to arive, so i would be able to buy the system allot cheaper. Or wait for double DDR release (whenever that would be). Or choose for an other systems setup (more less rimm, more less cpu). Or go for 2.4 with rimm or 2.5 with ddr... jadda jadda

Well you are going to have to jump in at some point. Otherwise you will allways be waiting.
A good time is around about now, before the christmas rush & price rise, or January post christmas rush.
