Someone plz help, i've been scratchin my head for the past few days and nothing seems to work. i got xp pro installed on my HD. motherboard is A7N8X. for some reason though when i try to run programs i keep running out of virtual memory. i've increased my virtual memory up to 2Gb and still i keep runnin out. not to mention the constant restarts that it does quite frequently. when i check the system files it sez all the drivers are working as advertised. anyone have any ideas on how to correct this?

thanx for the info toe, but unfortunately the problem was much deeper. i ended up doing a low lvl format and reinstalling xp. things seem to work fine now. just a heads up, check and make sure you dont have a program running in the backround called MSBB.EXE or .DLL, they will mess your system up in a heartbeat specially when you try to play games over the net. uninstall asap, this "program" imbedded itself into my registry and messed it all up and the kernel.

Yet another program that can be categorized as "Spyware". These kind of applications are notorious for causing system instability, and in many ways, it can be as if the system has become infected with a virus.

This kind of thing is happening in increasing numbers to users all over the 'Net, and having a firewall or an AntiVirus program in place is no longer sufficient protection. Now you also need to use a popup banner killer of some kind, and regularly run a program that can detect and remove these kind of applications.

I prefer Spybot, which is freeware. I run it at least once a week.

would be nice to see those spyware using/creating companies getting slammed at court for millions of dollars per person they screwed with so they go out smoking and poor

anyone who install anything spying on anyones computer before telling and asking for a permission from the owner of the computer should be sued for everything they own.

remember a while back when a dude taped his neighbour having sex in their own house and then he was trying to sue them? he ended up paying because the people who had sex sued for invasion of privacy since they had sex in their own house and dude taped them through the window.

well it's about the same, they got into your computer and spy on what you do. were you asked permission so they can do that? doubt it, it should qualify as illegal hacking and be on the level of virus writers since it does report back to the company. what's next, cameras in our houses?

lawmakers are busy kissing the music and movie companies a$$ at the moment, hope when they're done they're going to smooch with our hinds too. or better, get a couple of those spywares installed on their computers and see how fast they're going to react when they realize they're monitored by some company.

I'm surprised that nobody does anything about this illegal activity

I just read the post about spying.

I am seeking information about how I can stop the spying not only on the computer, but on the phone. I have even been followed. Files have been sent to my computers. Holograms have been sent to my home. Many things have been done to me. I need it to stop. I believe they are trying to drive me insane.

Any information will be useful. Thanks.
