Is this important? Will my chip get too hot if I dont reapply some paste?
Edited by jeffydaboy on 10/30/02 03:07 PM.
More about : thermal paste killian2 October 30, 2002 6:45:19 PM Yes it is important. I would clean off your heatsink and reapply thermal paste to the die of your processor and you'll be ready to go. I just used the generic Silver Thermal Compound from Comp USA for my 2100+. Works great. Can't find your answer ? Ask ! Publish Related resources PC not booting after thermal paste application,Urgent help please ! Forum Spilled thermal paste , please help !
