Does AS3 void warranty?

I was wondering if removing the pad and applying arctic silver voided processor warrenty. Also, how helpful is it to a non overclocker?

No in my knowledge.

Not helpful for a non-overclocker (lower temperature doesn't give performance changes)

Not with Intel, but Amd is different. I would check their website or call tech support to be sure.
