Hello,

Im looking for a laptop and I hope you can recommend some options to me. :)



1. What is your budget?
Give or take $600, below if possible.
2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
Maybe at 15.6"
3. What screen resolution do you want?

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Portable.
5. How much battery life do you need?
Around 3 or more hours will be good enough.
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
Sims 3 & WoW - High if possible
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Im a college student. College student tasks.
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
As much as I need to play the games mentioned above smoothly.
9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
As long as possible. Probably till end of college.
11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
Either of the 2 will be okay.
12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
I'd prefer to buy from Apple, Lenovo, HP, Asus.. but Im willing to try other brands. Im a total noob at this.
13. What country do you live in?
US
14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.
I wanna be able to do my school work and play games like Sims 3 (mostly just Sims 3 and WoW. Something with ample memory, good speakers, moderately light- portble, basically things a college student would want.

And I would pay for the 1 year warranty $59.99 for the 2nd machine just for peace of mind.

So the 2nd machine will be about $5 more than the 1st but it is better specification.
