In general (over clocking or not) what is a good temperature to have your computer running at? Currently mine is around 84-90 all the time. That seems a bit high? Im running a p4 2.26 on an Intel 845gbv. Iv also got a Gainward ti4200 128mb video card in there. Thanks for the input in advance!

Either you have a really good cooler and those temps are in Fahrenheit, or you are getting real close to the boiling point.

84f-90f = 28.8c-32.2c

I don't even think (ASUS) probe is that skewed.

If the temp is in Fahrenheit, then your cooler is very good.
If the temp is in Celsius and your CPU still working, then your cooler is even better!
(get what I mean?)

Sounds to me like he's talking case temp, not CPU temp. If that's the case, then that's acceptible, my case temp is 89 F right now, and CPU temp is 105 F.
However if he's talking CPU temp... that's one helluva cooler... would guess a copper heatsink and a fan that moves 30 cfm or so.
