while those are safe temps, having them while sitting idle in the bios is maybe a bit worrisome, do you know your temps at load? cuz you may be getting high enough that your cpu has to scale back its speed, and that sucks
are you using the stock cooler? if so, you should be fine, but maybe you should reseat it.

My BIOs shows about 30C idle. Sometimes I even get lower. It could be cause I'm in the basement, which is 16C. :tongue:

...And all the King's horses and all the King's men couldn't put my computer back together again...

That number really doesnt mean much u realise.

If your room temp is 35C then a 50C idle is very good.
If your room is 15C then i might be a tad worried about a 50C idle.
