AMD does not suck, AMD users do!

I like AMD but if I also say something nice about Intel, a bunch of AMD @rseholes say I’m stupid. Intel lovers never get on me about anything positive I say about AMD. Intel lovers only defend against negative comments about Intel. AMD butt munches run around ripping Intel for no good reason. Sure Intel has problems. The FPU problem, The p3 1.13 piece of junk, p4 not running today’s software up to snuff, less than above board bedding down with Rambus, etc. But AMD has issues too. The lack of thermal protection, power consumption, lack of SSE2 on current chips, etc. My eyes are open! I see both sides! AMD users open your eyes!

I hate getting in the Intel/AMD wars, and I think I've managed to stay on the civil side in all my posts. But that statement is laughable. I've been slammed when i said something good about Intel and I've been slammed when I said something good about AMD... Both "sides" have fans, and both sides have fanatics & nuts (and then there are the neutrals who go with whoever has the best chip at the moment with no special long-term allegiances). You can't and shouldn't generalize either way about people, just like you can't generalize about companies...

No you definitely are not. Maybe I should put it this way.

A man wants to purchase a car. There are two makes that the man likes very much the P and the A. The P has been around for longer, costs more, performance is at the same level if not less than the A but the P has a nifty feature it has abs brakes, the A does not. The A car is much cheaper than the P and performs as good or better but it does not have those nifty abs brakes. Which car does the man go for?

Well if the man sees a need for the special feature than he will go for the P car(an informed/intelligent purchase) . If he sees no need for the special feature and still goes for the P because of it's brand name than we call him a sucker(when all other car attributes are constant). The only logical and common sense purchase would be Car A if he does not need that feature (whether one is wealthy or not).

If he goes for car A and then knowingly takes his car out on a night when there is clear need for ABS brakes and gets himself killed then we call him an idiot.

Things should read like this:
Intel inside = Sucker outside(only under special cases-as the above example shows).
And Crispy athlon inside = idiot outside

I disagree with you dude! In the "Toms Comunity" AMD fanatics usually know something about CPU's , (at least about AMD CPU's), But Intel fanatics (anti AMDsts) usually know zip about what they are talking even if it is about Intel, and just make flames, and post b/s.
