Does asus k43sa-vx085R have switchable graphics card

im planning to purchase a laptop... i have narrowed it down to 2

1. Asus (K43SA-VX085R)
2. Acer Aspire (AS4755G-2438G75mnks)

just need some advise on which of the 2 should i go for.

- do they have switchable graphics function?
- what can u say about the GPU's... both have 2gb of video mem ASUS runs on ati 6730m while acer is on nvidia gt540m...

If they have a Sandy Bridge CPU, they probably do and the GT540 is better I believe.

yes both have switchable graphics. both graphics cards are so close in performance its hard to call a clear winner. they trade the lead depending what game you're playing but over all the 6730 should be about 5% faster. and since you will have switchable graphics the power consumption is not a worry since their loaded draw is similar. over all you should consider the graphics systems of the two laptops equal and make your decision based on which laptop you like more. does one come with a bigger HD or have a nicer screen/keyboard? that's what you should base your decision on
