I have an Athlon XP 2600+ w/333. I have a thread asking anyone has seen any comparisons of this vs. the 2600+ w/266. One thing I've noticed is that the bandwidth can come in handy sometimes. One simple test is that I wrote a Sieve program (basically a memory benchmark). It runs the same speed (~31 seconds) on my 1600+ and my 1800+ (both DDR266 machines) and should since they both have the same memory bandwidth. My 2600 runs it in ~23 seconds, which is pretty much dead on considering a 25% higher bandwidth.
