Hello! Excellent System! You've obviously been listening to the good advice in this forum. Just to spread some now common knowledge about the Asus A7N8X Deluxe motherboard:
- Install service pack 1 for Windows XP.
- Disable the serial ATA controller (via the BIOS) if you're not using a Serial ATA hard drive.
- Back-up your important data to removable media if possible and do a clean install of windows XP.
And please chronicle your experiences with this motherboard in this forum if it's not too much trouble. I've heard one individual say that this motherboard's included audio is better than an audigy gamer. Good day and congratulations!!!

I forgot to mention that I will be putting a WD Cavier 40GB 7200 RPM Hard Drive in this new system as well. I am pretty tempted to upgrade to SATA Drive. Maybe later on. Thanks for the replies!
