Thats all we need is for them(evil rich software producers,hehe) to read this thread and figure out that all they have to do to slow down pirating is to make a few dozen public arrests for the local news.
And don't think your safe in ontario either, didn't you hear the RCMP is now a wing for the FBI and DEA. So much for having a REAL CANADIAN ELITE POLICE FORCE.

You think the cops give a crap? We're supposed to wear helments when riding our bikes, when I drive on the road I don't. I drive by a cop and he just waves. The only thing you can't get away with is robbery and murder and drugs. :wink:

Heck even the guys I'm renting from knows what I do and they don't care (LOL!)

I believe if you pirate a large amt. of software- say 10,000 bucks worth or so- which is easy- windows 2k adv. server, adobe (everything) and a few games cad progs etc, that's grand theft and some serious time. So I'll stick to my statement. I don't even know what mirc or an ftp site is.

Well in North America you are allowed to make backups of software that you own. Most software companies don't mind that('cept MS, oracle, and for sure Adobe). Most european countries are more lax about it than us. If you start selling a sh!t load of the stuff non-discretely, well have fun in jail. Oh ya, don't bend down to pick up the soap in the jail showers- unless thats your sorta thing.LOL
