I got my hands on an Athlon socket A chip that doesn't seem
to fit any description that I have come across so far.

The markings on the core read:
ATHLON
AHL1000AUT3B
AGKGA0143GPAW
Y7123160694
It was sold to me as a Thunderbird 1gig, but the dimension
of the core is an odd 120mm.
The only site that returned on my extensive search was something in cyrilic?Polish?? that showed the AHL designation described as a low power (35w) model 6 Palomino.
This thing has resistors on the core side and nothing but
pins on the socket side, and looks similair to any other
t-bird I've got around (950,1.4) except for the Palomino
sized core block. The body of the chip seems like the early
gray ceramic material, and the core block has the bluish
Dresden? polish to it.
Any one out there able read the european versions of AMD
support, or have some previous experience with this
particular model?
