I'm thinking about putting windows xp media center 2005 on my computer and also picking up a TV tuner card so I can copy programs and put them on my computer (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=15-127-002&depa=0).
I'm new to all of this and was thinking about getting a Wireless Digital Media Center so that I could get movies/tv shows of my computer and watch them in a different room. Does this work well? Or is there a better way to go about this? I really don't want to build another computer just to have next to my tv, i'd much rather stream it from my computer in a different room, can anyone advise me if this is very practical right now? Or anyone have any other good ideas?
For a TV tuner card, I suggest this one. <A HREF="http://www.hauppage.com/pages/products/data_pvr150.html" target="_new">http://www.hauppage.com/pages/products/data_pvr150.html</A>
I dont like eVGa products.

Ok, so i'm debating on going one of two ways: either getting a digital media extender (the ones that you hook up to a network and then to your tv, etc) or I have an extra computer I could put in my room where I plan on viewing all the media. I have no idea about how to set this up, for instance how do I setup sound/video etc...i'm oblivious to all of this. Any info would be appriciated!
