Hello davidlogan96;

Any laptop that can game is going to be an excellent option for the usual school, social networking and entertainment tasks.

Here are a couple options with a
GT 540M graphics card.

The 14" MSI X460DX $700 ($620 after rebate) I added since it's 14" size might make it more attractive to you.

NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M review has some gaming benchmarks.

I Think I am going to up the price range to 750-800 max, would that yield better options for gaming?

I think sticking with the Gt540m will be fine, i like the reviews of it. Lets narrow it down to that card, and lets do 800 at VERY max

Btw, i appreciate your help!

I would say that. It doesn't have Turbo but it's powerful enough to support
these graphics cards well and plenty of power for everything else.

It's the best gaming option in your budget range ATM.
You'll want to compare that against any other Black Friday deals you might run across.
