I hate overclocking. Now dont reply and tell me I have no right to complain, but I can only get my 800 to run at 950. When I bump the multiplier up to 10 and the voltage to 1.85, Windows2000 wont load. If I try to increase the FSB to 105 with voltage at either 1.80 or 1.85 every damn program crashes. This sucks. I want an 800 that runs at 1000mhz damnit. Arg, Im tired of hearing how some [-peep-] got his Duron 600 to run at 1000, or his Classic Athlon 650 to run at 1000, it just makes me sick. I want a 1000 and I want it NOW!!!!!!!!!
BTW, if you think you can help, heres my stats: Asus A7V rev. 103 @ 1005C, Athlon Tbird 800, 256MB PC133 RAM, ATI Radeon 32MB DDR, Sound Blaster Live MP3+, Maxtor 45gig ATA100 7200RPM, Toshiba 40x CD ROM, Plextor 12/10/32a, D-Link 10/100 NIC, GlobalWin FOP 32-1. Thanks

Ive had mine for about 5 months, and I got it from an OEM vendor. I cant return it. Im hoping to find some loophole, or something im doing wrong.
Oh and i have a Win2k congrats to make, cause when Half Life crashes, it doesnt crash the OS along with it, as in Win98. So stable.

Its not a heat problem. Right now im sitting here with my voltage at 1.85 with a 105FSB (not able to play any games at all!!) and the temp is 42deg C which is actually cooler than when I had 1.8V, so go figure.
