The Green light for connection on my xbox wireless adapter
won't stop blinking and it wont connect even thought it
recognizes my wireless router, what can I do to make it
connect?

Check your settings in the Xbox Dashboard. Make sure you're running
Infrastructure and not System Link. Your LAN isn't running WPA encryption
is it? The MN-740 only does WEP.

When will the MN-740 firmware be released that supports
WPA-PSK? Running 100ft+ of RJ-45 seems like the best bet
for now.

Microsoft hasn't said anything about supporting WPA on the MN-740 (DUH!).
Of course, you could always go to something like this:
