Hello,
i have intel gma x4500 and want to know if i can play settlers 7. i can play dawn of war ( which has similar details needed to play. what is the equivalent graphics card performance wise of nvidia and ATI?

it might, you may need to turn down some of the eye candy, but the 4500 can run Vista's eye candy, so it has to be fairly good
