Off topic here, I know, but this is the busiest forum... *sorry*.

I've learned that Linux prefers to NOT have shadow ram enabled, because it's equipped with 32 bit software that deals with ram much better than the 16 bit programs provided on the motherboards. So, I want to disable the 384kb of shadow RAM, as well as any video shadow RAM on my Tyan Tiger MPX 2466N-4M (for dual Athlon), but I can't find it anywhere in the BIOS!?!?

Does anybody know how to disable the Shadow RAM on this MOBO??

It should be a option in your 'advanced BIOS features'.
If not... read your motherboard manual... it should be in there SOMEWHERE
