hello, im new and need to choose one of these laptops for gaming and also overall performance.

that has the a8-3500m, which runs at 1.5 ghz and 2.4 on two cores with turbo boost (correct?) the downside to this is it isnt even fast compared to last years cpu's, but has a killer gaming combo and 4 physical cores to do multi tasking.

from my knowlege this would be good for applications, and mediocre with the 540m graphics card
my question is that, the i5 with its really good processing power (2.3-2.9) make up for the unsufficient graphics card? what one would you buy for moderate gaming, everyday crap.
