Saw these early benchmark scores for the upcoming AMD Opteron processors. Thought I would share, check them out!!!
SPEC® CPU 2000 Estimates - System Configurations
AMD Opteron processor operating at 2.0GHz
Registered PC2700 DDR memory

SPECint® 2000:
Estimated base score = 1202

SPECfp® 2000:
Estimated base score = 1170

It was seen 1 month ago so this is really old news.
AMD describes them as being too easy on the Opteron, that they should be higher.
