Office 2007 vs windows 7

Hello, I installed office home&student 2007 on win7. It works fine, except when I try to open a file (like *.doc or *.ppt)on windows explorer (library)by clicking twice, as always. Then I get the message "operating system not configured to execute this application". I translated the message to English the way it think it is. Besides, office DOES NOT appear in win7 list of default programs (| do not know how they are in English). Anybody helps?

I would uninstall office 07 and then reinstall it.

I have already done that... nothing happened.

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

What is ur 1st language?.

Uninstall office, reboot the rig and use ccleaner to delete all the temp files and register of office reboot the rig again and finally run the setup.exe BUT this time select custom installation and in the windows where u can select the products (word, excel, power point) select "Run all from the PC" or something like that. Wait until the installation finish reboot the rig an try again.
