FYI, this definition is being added to the updated REG:

"in battle" refers to any cards in the current battle which can be
either the primary battle (rescue attempt or battle challenge) or it
can refer to a side battle, NOT BOTH.

Example 1: Achan's Sin reads, "Interrupt the battle and remove all
cards in battle from the game." If this card is activated in a side
battle then it will only interrupt and remove all the cards in the
side battle. If this card is activated in a primary battle (rescue
attempt or battle challenge) then it will interrupt and remove all the
cards in that battle.

Example 2: Devourer reads, "Interrupt and discard all good
enhancements now in battle." If this card is activated in a side
battle then it will only interrupt and discard the good enhancements
in the side battle. If this card is activated in a primary battle
(rescue attempt or battle challenge) then it
will interrupt and discard the good enhancements in that battle.

"Field of Battle" refers to any cards in the Field of Battle including
primary battle and side battles.

Example: Deceit of Sapphira and Rizpah's Sackcloth both read, "Discard
all cards in the Field of Battle including yours." Either of these
cards will discard every card in the primary battle and the side
battles regardless of which battle they were activated.
