There are two Rage tournaments coming up. One is in June at Origins,
in Columbus, OH, the other is in July at Anthrocon in Philadelphia,
PA.

Both tournaments offer you chances at promo cards and FABULOUS PRIZES!

ORIGINS:
6pm June 26th Saturday (main CCG hall, look around)
Rage Apocalpse Tourney (event 8809)
Rage Tribal War Tourney (event 8810)
Both tournaments are standard format and the new cards will be legal
(though proxies will have to meet judge approval). I suggest using
opaque backed sleeves and placing the proxies in front of another
Rage card. For characters/tribe cards (i.e. cards that are not
shuffled into a deck), transparent sleeves are fine.

[New card sets for Apocalypse are Intermezzo and Periphery. Web of
Deceit is for Tribal War. Get cards at:
http://www.rainydaypaperback.com/rage.html]

Matt Farney, the tournament director, will also have a limited number
of proxy sets available for purchase at the convention. (You'll need
to provide your own scissors. =)

I'm still working out the cost details, but I think they'll be $20
per set (2 sets available: Web of Deceit & Intermezzo/Periphery).
A set contains one of each character sheet and 3 of each non-
character sheet.

Matt plans on having these available at GenCon too if things go well
at Origins. [yes, this has been cleared with WW]

ANTHROCON

DEMOS AND CASUAL PLAY- Friday July 9th 3PM-7PM & 9PM to 11PM

Sharpen your claws, shine your klaives, and get ready to battle
werewolf style! Rage is a fast paced game of savage werewolf combat
and politics based on the Werewolf: the Apocalypse roleplaying game.

Cards will be provided for new players and rules will be taught.
Experienced players are also invited to come play with other fans. If
you are bringing your own deck, it should be built according to
tournament rules. However, keep in mind that new players will be
present, so please only bring fun theme decks for casual play.

Demos and games will run throughout the time slot, so don't worry if
you arrive late or need to leave early.

All participants will receive a promotional version of the new card
"Research and Development". For more info on Rage consult :

TOURNAMENT Sat. July 10th 11AM-3PM

Who's the leader of the pack? Duke it out werewolf style in a
tournament for the Rage: Apocalypse CCG. Grand prize: a unique
sculpture of a Crinos Garou battling a monster, nearly 2 feet tall!

This is an event for players that already know how to play. You are
expected to bring your own deck, but a limited number of "loaner"
decks will be available to people that learned to play in Friday's
demo. All decks must be tournament legal. Cards from the new sets,
Intermezzo and Periphery, will be allowed, so long as your deck is
sleeved. This is a limited format tournament, NO AMAZON CARDS ALLOWED.

This will be a multiple round tournament with no eliminations. Winner
will be judged based on total renown accumulated with a possible final
tiebreaker round, if needed. All rounds will be multiplayer, and you
must play in all rounds to be eligible to win.

Please note, if you haven't played in awhile, please read the rules
updates available. They can be read online at:

http://members.aol.com/blackdaggr/CCG/Rage/index.html

A printed copy will be available at the demo on Friday.

You can check out a picture of the sculpture up for grabs at
Anthrocon's tournament.

Demos will now run from 3:30 to 5Pm Friday and again in an 8:30Pm to
midnight block.
