Board for Athlon 1.7

I really new intoo computers and i want to know if those new 333FSB and 400FSB motherboards are compatible with my cpu and what kind of RAM should i get with these boards. I'm currently using an ECS K7VMM.

ur CPU is compatible with ANY new Socket A motherboard on the market....as for ram......depends on what chipset ur MB supports....for KT333...u dont need anything better than PC 2700 DDR CL2......

If its KT400 OR nForce 2 get PC 3200 or PC 3500 DDR CL2 ram for OPTIMUM Performance..and if u go with an nForce 2 board..make sure u get 2x sticks of ram as opposed to 1 to take full advantage of the dual channel DDR sub-system the chipset has!
