Hi people, newbie here who just rebuilt his system.I'm having trouble getting "need for speed , high pursuit" to run on the new system. I still have the old HDD(8 gig/ata33 as "D" ) slaved to the new one (30gig/ata100 as "C" )until I can get all the old stuff I want out of it. I've been able to load other games (including speedIII,porsche demo)with no trouble. I've uninstalled it & reinstalled it 4X's. Each
time it says successful install , when I insert the CD it starts out fine then I click play mode it starts to fire and then stops asking to insert CD into Drv. What Gives???

other sys info
DFI TA64-B mobo
450PIII/100MHz
Gforce Annil Pro
Open 16 sound
CDX40 & CDRW10x4x32

Hey, I get to reply to myself. Just in case anyone has the same trouble. This particular game has a issue concerning CD drive combo with CDRW. It has trouble reconizing configurations .One suggestion is to play a audio CD in one drive and start the game in another. Better yet , check the configuration in control systems that it is properly listed
that the CD rom your trying to use is the next drive letter
down from the hard drive. Hope this helps someone.
