I recently bought a new system

AMD XP2000+
ASUS A7v8x
2700 DDR

So I put my GAINWARD GF4 Ti4200 64DDR in it.

But after sometime without any reason so far my system crashes and i get red and yellow stripes on my screen and I have to power off the system because reseting doesnt help.

Can anyone help me?!!

I dont know if you have overclocked your RAM but setting all the latencies and clock speeds back to stock may solve this. I had done so with my RAM trying to get as much out of it as I could caused my system to become unstable. Restting all the latencies and FSB timings back to stock ended my troubles.

If its not broke dont fix it.

Have you loaded the lastest Via 4-1 drivers for your motherboard? The drivers on the CD are well out of date. Also try a BIOS upgrade via ASUS.

Good luck!!!
