My geforce 2 just went out on me and I need a suggestion for a new card. I don't want to spend over a $100. I play games sometimes, do some video editing, and use photoshop and other graphics programs...most often I'm multitasking. I've looked at pricewatch and don't know if I should get a better geforce 3 or a lower end model geforce 4. I would also appreicate if you could check out the brands and give me a suggestion there too. Thanks for your input.

I'd stay away from all MX versions of Nvidia cards. For the money u want to spend get a Radeon 8500 preferably not the LE (budget version).

I wouldnt even consider an MX card. The rest of the cards on the list above will do just fine. If you can find a ti4200 for $100 definatly go for that. Try to research the brand first though.

I'd get the Radeon 8500 OEM from Newegg for $92. It's FAR faster than the 9000.

I'll go with the 8500 then...found one on pricewatch at $93. Description says: ATI Radeon 8500 64MB DDR AGP4X, 275MHz/275MHz TV-Out, DVI-Out w/Software DVD Video Playback,Support Dual CRT Monitors
(Part - VC-ATRA850064TD)

Sound Good?

Thanks for all the help, I greatly appreciate it.

That's the one that you want.

Oh, I see the DVI to CRT adapter is only $6.50? GET THAT TOO if you think you might EVER want to use TWO CRT monitors!
