Im looking to spend no more than $1200 USD for a laptop that is rugged and reliable-to be used for Web access (dial up) and word proc and to run some finance programs. I am overwhelmed by the choices and am not a gamer. I need flexibility in the laptop as well and would prefer a larger easier to read screen with good battery life. Speed is good when I am on battery so that would be a plus. Am open to the Centrino laptops as well. A CD burner would be useful.
