Laptop screen

Hello,
I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop and my daughter dropped it on the carpet and my screen is not broken but I can only see from half of the screen. Can I get this screen replaced?

Yep. May not even bee the screen but the connections to it, even cheaper. If it is the screen, will probably run you $200 to swap it out including labor, but you may want to buy a replacement screen yourself on ebay or you will probably end up getting charged a lot more for it.

Have someone check the connections first though.

Step #8 refers to the display cable, as hang-the-9 said, try unplugging and reseating this.

If you're not comfortable with performing this, ask someone technically inclined to do this, or take it to a local store. The instructions are nice and detailed, so you can give it a shot.
