I might be able to get an ati fire gl 8800 cheaply. How good is this card for gaming?I don't do any kind of CAD or game design or anything which i know this is for, but if it's cheap enough i figured it might be worth buying to replace my radeon 9000.

dunno quite how much-it's on ebay but i think it may be worth the risk coz the seller seems reliable.I wouldn't buy it unless it was really cheap.Would it at least be noticeably better for gaming than my radeon 9000 128Mb?

It's a little slow than radeon8500 in gaming,but almost faster than NV250!

????????? Wtf, where are you getting this from lol. The GF3 (NV20) is faster than the 8500, and is also faster than the R9000. So, if the pro card is slower in games than the 8500, explain how it's faster than a NV25 which is a GF4 which is faster than a GF3?
