System: CPU 850 Athlon (Tbird, Slot A)
Motherboard MS-6167 , AMD-751, AGP 1.0 (1X, 2X)
Graphics Card Abit GeForce4 Ti 4200 64Mb
OS Windows XP SP1

Ok, here is my question. I have GeForce4 Ti 4200 which supports 2X/4X AGP and a motherboard with 1X/2X AGP support. According to 3DMark2001 SE and WCPUID my video card runs in 1X AGP mode! Windows setting such as hardware accelaration is at full. DxDiag detects no problems at all. I installed all of the latest drivers from Nvidia and AMD, latest BIOS updates for my motherboard and video card and I still have this problem - my GeForce doesn't want to support 2X mode.

What could be the problem?
How can I make my video card to run in 2X AGP mode?

Thank You

Have you gone int the BIOS and checked the AGP settings? It might be that its set to 1xAGP, so all you might have to do is change the setting. It should be in something like "frequency settings" or "clock settings"..

Ahhh! It's 2003 and wait, whats this!? My computer didn't blow up! ... Well damn, there goes my new Athlon @ 333FSB and my inssurance claim... heheheh

I checked my BIOS hundred times, the only setting related to AGP which can be adjusted is AGP aperture size and AGP ISA aliasing other than that there are no other setting related to it :(
