HOW CAN I DO THOSE TESTS JUST LIKE TOM's DID??

I just bought a Radeon9500 Pro, so I want to try some tests between my old Ti4400 and see the difference.
Although I have the game cd like "Dungeon Siege", "AquaNox" and "Jedi Knight 2", but I just don't know how to open the test frame?
"Dungeon Siege" for example, I can turn the FPS DISPLAY function on, but no matter what I change the resolution, shadows or texture depth, the FPS was always about 60.x(highest).
Can you advanced guys show me the right way to do those tests (Dungeon Siege, AquaNox and Jedi Knight 2), and JUST LIKE TOM's DID in the Graphic Guide?

you have to turn v sync off.

my computer is so fast, it completes an endless loop in less than 4 seconds!
