I've finally settled on one of these to put into my old Gateway P2 266 PC. They all seem to be about the same price...is there any reason to pick one over the other? Are they all compatible with the latest DirectX8.1 and OpenGL formats? Thanks

The cards suggested are all DX7 cards. For your P2 266, I think GF4 MX440 should do it but anyhow, your card performance will be limited by your CPU...

Build a new comp. or buy Radeon 9000 (non-Pro). It will work better with your system, because it's performance depends less on CPU compared to your selected cards. And it supports DX8.1 compared to DX7 of your GeForce cards. This will result in better image quality

The GTS Pro and MX440 are basically the same card, the MX400 is about 2/3 a GTS in performance. If you really want to hang onto that system and it doesn't support a 100MHz bus, you can spice it up a little with a Celeron 766.

For that system, a GF2 MX400 would be enough. Any more and it'd be kinda a waste. But upgrading the CPU would probably take priority at the moment...
