Tweak Utility - R8500

Hi all,

I'm currently looking for a tweak utility to OC my new R8500 64Mb.

I've heard that the Radetonator cannot be used on 8500...

Does anyone know a good tweak utility for ATI boards?

yes. go to rage3d.com and download the rage 3D tweak. it gave me 300 3D marks HIGHER in comparison to just running stock Catalyst 3.0

Radeonator 2.0 has no problems with the 8500 cards. I use it just fine.

I use Powestrip for my 64meg 8500.

I want to die like my Grandfather...in my sleep...not screaming in terror like his passengers.

If you're really serious about OC'ing your 8500 try flashing a new bios and use Radedit to set your mem and core speeds so you don't have to use an OC utility. I wasn't able to push my 8500LE past 275/240 with powerstrip but with the 7005 8500 bios I easilly hit 300/275 You can even get the new 9100 bios and turn your card into a Rad9100 (er uhh, it's still an 8500)
