I've got a problem with my Creative Ti4600 card. The display is far too dark, even with my monitor on full brightness. I had an older detonator driver that let me use the Nview utility to adjust the gamma to the right level, but when I upgraded (to fix a stability problem) this option was no longer available. If a game has a gamma slider, I can adjust this to fix it, but not all of them do (Battlefield 1942 especially). A temporary fix is too use the 3Deep tool, but I have to go through the whole of the wizard to set it each time I want to play a game. Are there any programs out there that I can set to start with Windows that will automatically adjust the gamma to a pre-set level, or does anyone have a solution for this problem? My monitor is a 17" Gateway model that windows detects as a generic monitor.

How old is your monitor & what are the specs on it? TI4600 pushes a monitor pretty hard. I know I'm running one.

I'm still learning & having fun doing it!!!!!!
