What are my options

Our kids are home schooled and recently we were able to get a computer
donated to us for them. It's an older Dell OptiPlex GXIP Pentium 3 450
computer from a local university. My problem is that is appears to have
integrated sound and video. I would like to upgrade these components but
don't know if this would be possible. Dell's website appears to have very
little to offer on this. When I tried to get chat support they told me the
computer was under a business account. I gave up and decided to come here
for help. I would love to get my hands on a manual which I did not receive
with it. What are my options? Thanks in advance.

Check the bios, and see if you can disable the onboard sound and video. If
you can, you can then add in a video card and or sound card, depending on
the available slots.

Check here for your manuals.

I'm not familiar with that product line do I'll defer to others on the
upgrades.

Are the onboard sound and graphics not sufficient for schoolwork?
