hi everybody, here is my computer
AMD 1800+(no overclock with 1566MHz)
Asus A7N8X mother board
256mb ram
ATI 9500 pro
DirectX9.0

and my 3d mark is about 12200
everything is fine,
i had updated everything(drivers for video card and motherboard)
but when i tried to play games like ShadowBane, or Need for Speed Hot Pursuit2,
it freezed up occasionally,
i can play those games for a while, but sometimes the screen just freeze and i had to reboot.

i was wondering is that because my CPU temp. too high?
i tried not to overclock, but the temp is still like 65 to 70C
(when i start the computer and go in to the BIOS mode, it read as 65 to 70C, but then when i read it in ASUS probe(which is a program that ASUS provided to probe the system in windows mode) it reads only 56C
so i don't know which one is correct)

or is it because the video card's problem?
someone please help me pls, i bought this for 200 us dollars, and i sitll cant play any games? what doh...

hmmmm if it were the graphics card it would probably not be doing this, I suggest better cooling for your cpu. Invest 20 bucks and get a volcano 7 and some arctic silver 3.I use that setup with my xp 1800 and it is clocked at 1.8ghz and runs at 41c good luck to ya

 Wow, if he's here who's running hell?
