ATI 9700 & 300w

Is a 300w power supply actually enough for a ATI 9700 Pro AIW card, in addition to 2 hard drives, 2 CD drives and all the other stuff that goes on in the computer??? I'm running on a Athlon 700mhz, 512meg ram.

Any input would be appreciated!

I've been running: a AXP 1600+, two CD drives, a zip drive, a 40GB Barracuda IV (just one), and a R9700 Pro. For about four months on a 300W generic PS with no problems yet.

I've been running Athlon XP 2000+, R9700, 80gb HD, 2 CD Drives on 300W for a month and last week the TV-Out stopped working, been wondering why... could this be the reason? should I get a new power supply?
