when i turn on my computer i can see the fans running. (I have a case window) and my HD and Power indicator lights turn on, also my Cold cathoide works and a green light on my mobo turns on but my screen remians balck and never activaites. i have swapped my 350W PS for a 400W one and replaced my monitor and no luck.
My setup includes.

*Athlon XP 1800
*Acorp/VIA KT266A Mobo
*Gainward GeForce 4 Ti 4200 (Just replaced under warrenty 2 Months ago.)
*256 Mb Crucial PC2100 DDR RAM
*40 Gb Maxtor HD
*Sound Blaster Audigy MP3+
*Linksys Net Card
*Firewire Card

Please post any and all sugestions or helpfull info.

I would check your video card? You say you replaced it. Did the replacement work? If it did then stoped its probably broken. Do you have a Pc-speaker installed? You know the ones that can make simple beeps. If you don't have one installed get one. If your memory is messed of anything else that has to do with the mainboard the PC-speaker will give you a beep code. Also is your bios ok? Were you flashing it?

PCMCIA Really stands for (People Can't Memorize Computer Industry Acronyms) :) :)

Did you just assemble this thing, or did it quite while you were using it?

check all power leads and data cables.

yes i did have the video card replaced just 2 months ago by Gainward. No i have not checked the memory, no i was not flashing BIOS, Yes my speaker is plugged in and gives me intermitent 1 sec. long beeeeeeps. AND YES MY MONITOR IS ON!

Is it a repaired or new graphic card?

Are there signs of "hot joints" in the AGP slot?

I dunno wether it is a repaired or new card. and what are "Hot Spots" Also this problem occured out of nowhere.
