Get in there with a small screw driver, or small needle nose pliers & straighten it. I've done it before many times.

I'm still learning & having fun doing it!! Trouble comes with the things you forget or overlook along the way that make it not so fun!!

I am afraid of snapping it off. Its so badly bent down that it is very difficult to do as suggested.

The thought had crossed my mind but I dealt with similar situations and have always ended up snapping the pin off.

Hey Ho I'll have to wait until Creative come back to me with (i hope) an answer :(

Man, I'd give it a shot, what have you got to loose? You can't use it the way it is so WTF? That's me though, do what you got to do I guess!

If it doesn't work, fix it! If it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway!

Straighten/bend the pin once only. Don't keep bending the pin or it will break!
