Well isnt amazing. I just realize that the P6 core is 6 years old. Thats long life in the PC industry. who would thought in 1996 that the Pentium Pro core (P6) could go to 1ghz the core is amazing. Well how the hell did intel do it? It took 6years for intel to replace P6. Guess the P6 core still is faster. I cant see intel dumping the P6 core till 64-bit is the standard.

you can say the pentuim 4 (P7) will 2 or 3 till its done right. thats why they made the Pentuim 1 MMX. For the Pentuim Pro
